Getting Together to Fight Crime! Something may be wrong in your neighborhood. There's too much violence, or there's an ever-present threat. Maybe a string of robberies has you wondering what's coming next. You're uneasy-even frightened-for yourself and your family. Per- haps nothing violent has happened, but you see warning signs-such as vandalism, abandoned cars, and loitering-that crime and violence may be reaching your locality soon

The Village of Peebles Police Department invites you to start a Neighborhood Watch Program on your street. The Neighborhood Watch Program is a simple and direct approach to reducing criminal activity through citizen awareness and intervention.  It involves regular meetings to discuss various topics which might include all types of crimes to include: crimes against the elderly, internet crimes, theft, or when and how to report suspicious activity to the police.  To start this program in your neighborhood, please contact the Village office at (937) 587-3191 for further information.
